The Satellite Positioning and Inertial Navigation Laboratory at The Ohio State University was established with the primary goals of performing research in the following areas:

  • GPS algorithms and methods
  • RTK GPS in multi-station environment LEO and GPS orbit determination
  • Space weather monitoring with GPS
  • GPS/INS integration for direct sensor georefercing
  • Sensor integration and mobile mapping
  • Airborne and land-based mapping supported by GPS/INS
  • Outdoor and indoor use of GPS pseudolites
  • Application of GPS in location based services
